Magical place in the Gulf of Finland.

Only 3.1-hectare Estonian island in the Gulf of Finland. It is located about 6 km north of the island Prangli, and is one of the northernmost islands of Estonia. Island is the site of the notable lighthouse.

The islandi is first mentioned in 1623. Has been situated by important seaways a long time. Therefore in 1719 a lighthouse was erected there on the order of Peter the Great. The present lighthouse was built in 1803.

The present day lighthouse was built in 1858. It is a red metal cylinder topped with the lantern room and balcony which rests upon a cylindrical stone base.
The original wooden lighthouse was built in 1724. It was rebuilt in the early 19th century with a stone base topped with a wooden tower.

During a well drilling in 1902 natural gas was discovered. From 1906 to 1912 the gas was used to power the lighthouse and heat the other buildings on the island. During that time it was the only lighthouse in the world to be powered by natural gas. In 1912 after a seismic impulse the gas flow stopped. The island has been inhabited only by the families of the lighthouse keepers. The last keeper left the island in September 2002. Since then the lighthouse is computer controlled; the power is derived from a wind turbine and solar panels.

During hours of darkness the light cycles with the following sequence: 13 seconds off; 2 seconds on. The light can be seen from 11 nautical miles.

How we call this island?

Mexico

I want to say that weather is super (+28C and up), sea water is warm (+24C), people are friendly.

Mexico is a place that is worth of visiting despite my thrilling experiences and other adventures in a past few days. Especially it's small cities where you see the local culture and "real life".

While I promissed to become "good and kind" I will not upload a photos about how much I enjoy all this. Photos about strange people and ugly houses on the beach. I only let you know that sand is soft and clean and the music is good. Also it was worth to visit the underwater museum in Caribbean sea where there was a thousand coloured fishes checking your tickets. Water is so salty that if I would make a soup so salty everybody would suspect that I'm in love
heart emoticon
So, as you got it already snorkelling in the middle of the Caribbean sea was cool. Tequila Sunrise is tasty, so are tacos.
Oh, and the sandshark is sooo cute. Dark brown, warm, skin that is strong but soft. To say nothing of Chichen Itza where they sacrificed working class people in the past. Now is that plase for iguanas to chill around.
Also it was very refreshing to have a swim in Xenote in the deepness of caves.

The adventure continues....
